Reports – Summary

This Summary displays the information based on the selected date range. If you have the month of January selected, what will show are all actions that took place in January.

Sales (Paid)

If an item is Unpaid, it will not be in this report. If an item was marked Shipped a different month, this is based on when it was Paid.

Income: This shows the items sold amount, the fees you received AFTER generating a check to the consignor (because it was income by charging the consignor these fees), shipping you charged the buyer,

Expenses: This shows the amount you paid your consignor from the sale price of the item, refunds (explained below), fees you paid to eBay/PayPal/etc, shipping amount the store paid and insurance the store paid.

Refunds: If an item sells for $100 and the Refund is $20, the Sale reports will still reflect $100 while the Refund column will show $20. The Sale column will NOT show $80 as the sale amount. If an item sells in November but the refund happens during December, the refund will be on the November reports and NOT the December reports since the sale happened in November.

Unsold: This breaks out the income and expenses from items that have not sold. If the item was relisted and then sold, you will see the Sold income/expenses under the Sales (Paid) section.

Right Column

Pending Transactions:
Funds Awaiting Deposit
is only if you took Cash or Check for items and marked the payment as such. If you do not take either method of payment, you will not need to use this column.
Total Consignor Payments Due is how much you owe your consignors based on the commission plans they are currently set under. Clicking this link takes you to the Pay Consignors page.
Consignor Payments over 30 days means the items you have Shipped over 30 days ago.

Sales Ratio: This is based on your eBay sales. The difference between items vs auctions is, you can have multiple auctions per item. If you have 100 items but 300 auctions within the month, it will be able to give you a sales ratio.

Employee Productivity shows you the top 3 employees with their sales. The numbers showing on the Summary page are solely based on Sold and Paid items. Therefore, the item Intake column is based on what the employee has taken in during that month and has Sold and Paid. Pretty much, this gives you an overview of your 3 top selling employees. You can see a full report under Admin > Employee Productivity.

Commission Plans: this shows the amount of items and sale amounts taken in under each commission plan.
