Getting Started in 5 Easy Steps

So, you’ve imported your listings into CrossPostIt… Now what?

Let’s complete your settings. We’re going to walk you through your general settings which will make listing even easier for you.

Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner and go to your settings.

Let’s start with My Location. Completing the “Location Settings” section will automatically format your templates and labels with the information you provide.

If you’re using eBay, be sure to complete your PayPal Settings here too. Don’t worry; you can make changes to your listings on the fly if you need to. Pretty easy, huh?

Head on back to settings. User Accounts is for setting individual security levels if you have multiple people listing for you. Go here to add a user or modify user access. If you’re the only one selling items, you can skip this step.

Let’s move on to Listing Defaults. This is where you can really save a lot of time by prepopulating your Payment Methods, return policy, shipping settings, and more. You only need to complete the sections for the platforms you’ll be posting to.

If you’re using eBay and/or Craigslist, you’ll want to go to your Ad Templates next.  Here, you’re given the ability to customize your template text. For eBay, make sure you cover all the tabs – Payment, Shipping, Returns, About, Legal, and Checkout Instructions. You’ll notice that these fields coincide with eBay’s listing form. You only need to complete these once; the information will be pushed over to eBay for all of your future listings.

Last but certainly not least, let’s talk about customer feedback. Feedback is SO important when it comes to selling more on eBay, so why not automate it?! Click on “Automated EBay Feedback”. Click “Enable Random Auto Feedback” to automatically leave feedback for your buyers either when an item is paid for or when they leave you positive feedback. You can also automate an email notification letting your buyer know payment has been received and feedback would be appreciated. This goes a long way with buyers because it gives them peace of mind that their item will be arriving soon.

Congratulations! You’ve completed the first steps in simplifying your multi-channel listing process!
